FIFTY!!

Even with everything going on in life right now I am happy to announce that I have reached a goal of 50 pounds lost. BOOM BABY! The last few pounds were lost because of everything going on in my life right now, but I am still going to celebrate this goal.

This was my first progress picture and I was very proud of how far I had come. The picture below is the one showing my 50 pound loss. In case you are curious, I am wearing the same shirt in all of these pictures. I definitely recommend taking progress pictures. It definitely shows my physical progress and weight loss over the past couple of years.

I am still looking to loose approximately 30 more pounds. This will be put me on the high end of a healthy weight. My plan is to get there before 2016 even with  some setbacks with everything that has happened so far this year. I know I am not giving a lot of detail at the moment, but I will explain when I am ready. Until then thank you for celebrating my progress!

Not Ready

This year has been one heck of a year for me. I was let go from my job the last week in January and I have had some other major things happen this month. I am not ready to talk about it, but I will in time. Since my last post, Long Week, I do not believe I have lost any additional weight. That is okay with me since I lost quite a bit of weight last week.

My Mom and others have been keeping an eye on me to make sure I am eating though. My Mom sent me home with a bunch of deli turkey and provolone, which I ate last week. It actually tasted good to me and I enjoyed my turkey sandwiches with Sweet Potato chips. Yum! Then my trainer, Lyndsey, made some Chicken Enchilada Soup and she sent me home with some. Delicious! I ate it with a bit of cheddar cheese and some tortilla chips for lunch Thursday. I need to make this for lunch one week. It hit the spot! 



As far as workouts go they have not been great. I do not feel guilty or bad about it right now. My goal was 3-4 workouts and I did it. I worked out Monday with my trainer and walked on Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday with my Mom. I am hoping to get back on track, but for now I am trying to just stay above water. 


I am hoping this week will be a little better. It feels like a wave pool without the warning some days. I am hoping to get at least 4 workouts this week with at least 2 strength workouts. I also plan on going grocery shopping Tuesday night to pick up items for lunch and dinner. For now I am just concentrating on working through everything.

Long Week

I am sorry I have been gone. It has been a long, emotional week for me. I don't want to get into all the details, but I have been sick to my stomach. This is not a healthy or fun way to loose weight. The only thing I ate for a few of the days was protein bars and bananas.  

Wednesday my neck began to hurt and by Thursday I could hardly handle it. I was taking ibuprofen and tried ice packs, but it was not relieving it. Thankfully my chiropractor got me in Friday morning. Apparently I somehow jammed the right side of my neck and hurt my right shoulder. Thankfully after the adjustment I feel better, but it is still sore and very tender. So between the personal things going on right now and my neck I have not been eating or working out. Neither of these things on their own are with the five pounds I have lost this week. 



I am not sure what is going to happen in the future at this point. I can pray and I can hope that people make the right decision. It took me a long to heal myself and I really want a chance to show this person. I hope you are all doing great and following the right journey for your weight loss.
